I love chasing my ball on Crescent Beach, even when there’s snow on the rocks. Mom and Sue like to take long walks, so we walked the entire 2km length of the beach. I mostly ran after my ball, but I also sniffed around and explored the rocky terrain.

Suddenly, I spotted a dog that looked just like me, but much bigger. It was a golden doodle and it seemed friendly, so I ran over to say hello. We started to play together, but the bigger dog accidentally stepped on me. It hurt a lot, and I whimpered in pain. The other dog’s mom quickly took him away to avoid any more accidents.
Mom and Sue checked me over and made sure I was okay. I was a bit shaken up, but I wasn’t hurt too badly. Mom picked me up and gave me a big hug to make me feel better. We continued our walk along the beach, enjoying the views of snow on the rocks and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
I was a bit more cautious after my encounter with the golden doodle, but I still had fun chasing my ball and exploring the beach. Mom and Sue kept a close eye on me to make sure I was safe, and we all enjoyed the winter wonderland scenery. I may have had a little scare, but I know that I can always count on mom and Sue to keep me safe and make sure I have fun.
